I removed the rank titles with the info Razor sent.

If you actually look into user profile using "Profile" button, then there is still both text and image.

It seems I have to edit a couple of pages. It would be better as a forum option since editing pages makes upgrading messy.

I'm not sure how sorting by rank works. It puts Wiseguy at the top in the memberlist for some reason.

I guess you could pick some you like (around 10?) and assign amount of posts to it. The more posts, the higher in badness, lol.

In GTA2 you are called gecko by the gang bosses.

So I would say it should start with

ped (0-1 posts?)
gecko (1-5 posts?)
... and the rest is what sektor decides.

Yeah thats a nice one, although only Uno Carb/Red Valdez/Trey Welsh (the three Zaibatsu bosses) call your player "Gecko", while the others call you Jumbo (Elmo/Loonies), THC-303 (LaBrat/SRS Scientists), Comrade (Jerkov/Russian Mafia), etc.., Sektor said something about gang groups, so if he add Group Leaders for gang groups, they could be "ranked" with these names or with the gang bosses names (Jerkov, Elmo, Red Valdez, LaBrat, Billy Bob Bean and stuff).

Could those ranks be closer to those used within GTA1 and GTA2 game text? I recall there being a "Psycho Bastard Bonus" for a couple of missions in GTA1, for example. So renaming "Psycho" to "Psycho Bastard" would get my vote. Perhaps "Loony" (from the GTA2 gang name) is too similar to be justified as another, lesser, rank.

I also remember the "Gratuitous Violence Bonus". Which is pure awesome. Doesn't make sense as a rank, though. Seems I don't have an english.fxt or special.fxt to hand but it could be worth crawling through. I remember gathering a list of all named characters from GTA1...took a while, but hey, that's pointless trivia for you!

• GTA2 has the "Car Jacker" bonus, which is already rightly present in the ranks.
• Does GTA2 give you a rank when you score well in bonus levels?
• I recall there's a "Fugitive Rating" when you exit the single player story mode. Not sure it gives you a rank in text but maybe "Fugitive" could itself be a rank?
• GTAIII gave you a criminal rank on your stats screen. I remember "Crime Boss" was possible but maybe the others were fairly lame?
• GTA Vice City, San Andreas, GTA4 and the various expansion packs probably have ranks as well.
