Old good single-player map (I need your help!)

Hi, all! This is archive with interesting small map - "Criminal Peterburg" from Russia (10 year old) ). It has 3 missions, some secrets, etc.
Actually, this map has bug in final mission . Please, submit me, how it can be fixed ?! (source code is attached).

It has really interesting missions and I can't get a Tank. Maybe, you can?

Please, note that text is written in Russian, so you probably can't see the missions directions. If you interested in it, I try to translate this for you.

are you able to start this map with the custom gxt file?
gta says it is an invalid file type. even the editors either don't load or don't save this file.

i would not have an idea what to do anyway because it is written in Russian.

different question: is it you who made this map?

No, I didn't make this map.
You right, map is written in Russian. Maybe, rename r.gxt to e.txt?
Anyway, source code is attached, it can help ?

havnt looked at the mis yet. i wanted to test the missions first.

the filename is not the problem. i started it with an mmp and i also renamed it various times.

i think i'll check the mis tomorrow. if the missions are good i will maybe try to convert them to mp. there are only very few mp mission maps and this map is small enough to be fun too.

GTA2 Manager might have to be set to Russian for the GXT to work, no matter what you name it.

I seem to recall someone discovered structural differences in the various language files, or hardcoded differences in how GTA2 processes them?

I added GTA2 GXT Editor v3.0.1 to http://gtamp.com/gta2/tools.

From readme.txt:

Added "Russian" language to the languages list. If r.gxt is opened then editor charset is set to Russian automatically. Unfortunately Russian r.gxt decoding is not working (yet). It doesn't display Russian text correctly even with Russian charset and font. Some custom decoding of GXT must be done specially for Russian version. Im working on it.

If the decoding doesn't work then we can't use the GXT to translate Russian to English. We'd have get all the text in game with the Russian version of GTA2. It has a different exe and STY files.

I'm sure Black Phoenix can figure out how to read/display the GXT within a virtual PC on a shuttle simulator.

edit: the older GXT to TXT convertors should work better.
