Hello, I'm thinking of exporting the 3 districts of GTA2 to be able to pass them to GTA3.
Could someone tell me how? It shows that there are people here who are experts in this type of thing. That is why I am asking
How can I export maps from GTA2?

use this map editor to export the map you would like viewtopic.php?t=83
but its going to take alot of afford to port it over to other games because the map plus texture come in one piece(1 file for map, 1 file for textures)
so basically youill need to cut the map down into much smaller pieces and including the textures because i dont think gta3 can render or load gta2's huge maps in one piece (optimaztion basically)
i ported downtown map to gta v and i had to split the map into 13 smaller pieces in order to run it and dont forget the textures which i have like 3000+ files

There was this conversion to San Andreas. Is there a reason for the GTA3 engine? Isn't San Andreas engine better in most ways?

Re: How can I export maps from GTA2?
Thinking about it (The GTASA Engine Mod), yes, actually what I want to do is improve it, since there are too many problems. For example:
-The map is placed in an area of the GTASA map, which means that there is no traffic (Countryside with lakes zone), in this case I don't know what to do either, but it occurs to me to put it as a new island, although that must be complicated
So, my new goal is to improve the gtagarage mod, but I would need a contact from the original author to avoid problems and if he wants he can help me

So, you just have to make a bridge to join the 3 Districts so that they fit well

And about the author of the mod, I think it will not be possible...
His last time connected was October 2013
