Re: Playing with Powerups
I like it. Needs transparent corners instead of white or maybe firefox just sucks at png.

Thanks!
The transparent corners should be transparent, but when you view the image "alone" in firefox it somehow keeps the old background information and doesn't recalculate the transparency.

Since the crowd is going wild, I'm gonna post some more images I made.
I call this one art, since it sucks. (and the 'two' is missing)

That looks a bit like a colour blind test.
Here's something I made in 2002. There's only one of each powerup placed on the map. GTA2 only clears sprites if there are tiles under them, so remove the tiles and you can get a trail effect.

Nice! I especially like the ageing of the masterpiece and the thought that in that year the modding of the game was in it's adolescence.

Re: Playing with Powerups
Some of the colours actually look the same or at least similar if you have protanopia (red colourblindness) or deuteranopia (green colourblindness), and it looks silly if you have tritanopia (blue colourblindness). It may work fine as a test, though it would clearly work better if the shapes and/or intensity of the colours inside the circles weren't different.Sektor wrote:That looks a bit like a colour blind test.
(Disclaimer: these simulations were made with Coblis, which is why it's so JPEG'd and why the background is black)
You just lost the game.
