How to make custom maps?

I need help making custom maps for GTA 2.

Every time I try to make one, I can't make walls, slopes and scripts that give weapons to players automatically.

I forget how to use the editor, it's been a while but there are guides out there:

Scripts I know pretty well but you have to understand some code.

I assume that the official GTA 2 map editor in later Windows versions work fine?

I also don't know how to make weapons respawn instantly after the player picks them up.
