changes:
  • no collision powerup and car armor now has an animated forcefield (it is taken from ddr and modified a bit)
  • damn sunday driver message when dieing in car
  • blackbox powerup (life) works now
  • carinvisibility works but only with swatvan atm. it's very much work to modify the deltas of all cars.
  • some object positioning changes
  • some powerups changed places
  • se area now has srs floor
  • paint shop gives one of 12 random colors and restores wanted level
  • some other smaller mapping improvements
  • in case there is any hole in the map you are now teleported back to ground(starting point) immediately (most places on
  • the map/ not too near to water)
  • added 6 doors with neon signs which teleport you to the starting point
  • when a player car is hit by water canon it looses control and the player is locked until it gets destroyed
  • burning players get extinguished when standing on health like on bff wipe out
  • apc, fbi car and swatvan are bulletproof now (when you enter), firetruck is flameproof
  • bankvan gives temporary bribe and money while youre in like in tyty army
  • tank is faster and survives one more rocket
  • apc also survices one more rocket and can drive over cars
  • jeeps survive 1 rocket
  • monsterbug can also drive over cars

  • a train system
  • a train system, yeah this deserves to be mentioned twice ;)
  • scripted doorlock powerup for cars. (unforunately doesnt help against cops)
  • train staion at nw
  • fast reload and double damage at far nw
  • rusty wrecked train bridge at sw
  • clinker train bridge at sw central
  • one railroad crossing where cars get crushed
  • some other train bridges
  • tunnel through building at west central with jump to electrogun
  • indestructible train
  • blue color train
  • blue explosions
  • explode punch animation
  • cranes at south central and far sw
  • more street texture detail
  • changed a color of car repair
  • you have to exit your car when you are underground to be teleported back
  • fireladders at nw
  • pipes into river
  • water tower at far sw

updates:
  • used the right gmp of tyfo arena
  • hopefully fixed crashing bugs in tyfo
  • corrected a floating weapon in tyfo
  • fixed accidentially keeping scripted powerups after death in tyfo army
  • other minor fixes in tyfo army

here is a version without a train on the track. i hope this prevents crashes with more than 4 players or any possible occasional crash. i will add everything back when i found the problem.

this version includes a lot of changes.
  • rearranged the railroad to cross a street 2 times now and to go through the city even longer.
  • added scenery northern train station and rural area
  • retextured building at west rocket launcher, mg&fr building at center, nw trainstation, ne edge building, explode punch building
  • added health at explode punch building
  • increased shield duration
  • added dd and fr at sw corner
I also placed 16 vehicles on the map. try to get them all. Some are easy some are difficult and the apc is very tricky to get.

Wow, a lot of changes. The railway crossings look good. You haven't optimised the tyfo_army.gmp in this version.

Tiny Face Off crashed just as I heard a cop shout "Freeze!" I had jumped to the East platform with Molotov and immediately driven off, North-West, laying a mine on the 1-lane road.

Tiny Face Off Army Lite crashed when I approached the North-East chicane, from the West. I heard a police siren the instant before the crash.

i forgot the optimizing after some recent changes.
some unexpected problems appeared:

There are no trains. You already commented them out in case they were cause of crashes.

It crashed again on wanted level 4 just as I exploded a Cop Car. This makes me think it's all the weird stuff on an near roads. This can cause the game to try making impossible road blocks. Same thing happened on my THSA and TFOA until I cleaned up road edges and traffic arrows.

There are some fantastic bits of architecture in this level. But the gameplay is too weird. And it's not really Face Off any more because of all these new areas...which also mean it isn't Tiny!

Probably the 3 best buildings using ste.sty are here, though. Seriously.

after many tests in multiplayer again i came to the conclusion that it really is because of the train. it didn't crash without the train and it still crashed with only the train. furthermore it crashed more often with more trains. i am not 100% sure about this: everytime i saw a train while it crashed it was departing. and it crashes less often when being inside the train in single player.

it looks like you tested one of the testing versions. i changed it very often for a time of about ~2 days. maybe only the mis file had them commented out. were there really no trains on the track?

  • All the scripting is reverted back to normal.
  • made a version without a train.
  • Improoved sw ruin building, 41,209 , 46,209 and some other buildings
  • added a way over a pipe to the train station
  • made 2nd floor form the building where the pipe comes from hollow
  • the jumps 39,216 and 38,203 have changed
  • added jump at 43,214 and made driving over water from 46,217 easier(its still difficult)

  • added remote control powerup on west central building.
  • added death explosion powerup on central south building
  • make firetruck work again
  • teleport door floor or script area at central building
  • improove army reset trigger by making it time sensitive
  • car armor duration reduced
  • texture bug on wall east of sw station
  • all healths now extinguishing
  • add sprites from tstd.sty
  • shading at vmg exit
  • invulv after teleport
  • reduced max playercount to 4 to make enough place for th scripting changes
  • added many new paths and jumps
  • added benches from tstd.sty
  • added waterjet from tstd.sty
  • added teslagun from tstd.stysd
  • for some unknown reason instant gangs enter cars again now
