Basic DirectPlay Connectivity Test

Greetings

I tried to play with friends, however they had trouble to configure their routers. I was sitting there all day for "Does it work now? Please try to join the game."-requests. I figured it would be useful to have an external service to check whether the necessary ports are forwarded correctly. So I set up my server to scan the visitors address for Direct Play lobbies. This test acts like a Direct Play 9 game client. This test only looks for game lobbies. This test does not cover UDP data exchange for actual gameplay. Should work for any Direct Play game (tested with GTA2, Age of Empires 2 and Stronghold).
