Hey TradeMark!
Your post rings in harmony with many FOSS project issues. Many people don't get it. They treat passionate coders as a company and think of themselves as clients and think they are entitled to demand anything. Not so. As you know, that just discourages the coder.

Re: TradeMark's GTA2 Map Editor (0.6.0) NEW EPIC VERSION
Antivirus software and Windows are like taking aspirin after having sex with a bird you just met at the pub. In Nigeria. Except that AIDS can't turn you into a zombie.
Good suggestion about the virtual machine though.

Re: Greedy Car Thieves
I had time to test it, here are some things you can improve:
1- Dynamic range. In night mode the lights are very pretty, but you need to increase ambient, because it's no fun when you can't see half the map. My screen is adjusted well, in fact I use a hardware calibrator, so the problem definitely ...

Very impressive! I'll be testing this in Gentoo x86_64 soon. Currently using and testing Nouveau + Gallium which does not support OpenGL yet.

Re: TRON: Legacy
Of course I've seen Hackers, it's a cult film, although also way too detached from reality to be thoroughly enjoyable. That's why I like WarGames - apart for the tic-tac-toe thing, the things the kid shows his girlfriend, presumably to get her wet, are all valid phreaking techniques.

Re: TRON: Legacy
I'm a fan of retro films and I saw the first Tron, but I didn't like it much. In fact most films about computers piss me off because the script writers seem to forget that not all of their future audience is computer-illiterate and not all of them are dazzled by something as simple as saying "kernel ...

Re: Ban... why?
Thank you kindly for the lessons, Ben. I recommend we execute Gustavob for banning ops when specifically told days, minutes and seconds before an op kick never to do so, and to send you to Siberia for your bloated sense of righteousness. See if that makes the channel and the internet as a whole a ...

Re: What browser do you use?
Firefox has a massive disinformation campaign and is full of old vulnerabilities despite the spam that says otherwise. Also its slow and hogs memory. Fuck FireFox.
Opera is pretty cool.
I've been using Chromium ever since I first tried it. (Not Google Chrome).
