I bought a cheap SNES cable for better image quality. Normally I used the coax thing, now I used composite. Well I wasted 3 euro because it's not much better. I should have gone for RGB (Scart)...
I use the composite component input on my Dell Ultrasharp 2410 screen. It's better than composite, for sure!
I bought the cable for the Playstation 2 and it was best couple of quid I ever spent! Text and progress bars in the Gran Turismo 4 car setup interfaces really proves the point. As does the sharpness of the scenery and skybox when racing.
I also use the composite component input to take signal from my g/f's Freeview box. So we can watch TV on a 24" PC screen with decent quality. (Sadly it's not a HD box. That would be teh pwn.)
(EDIT) Damn, I always get those names confused!
