GTA2 animations to .gif

Hi,

With some ImageMagick, Python and a lot debugging (me is noob at coding) I automated the process of making .gif animations of the GTA2 sprites (from sty tool).

Perhaps I can also do the guns and stuff.

automated this is the best I get. the program 'sty tool' should figure out the transparency, but i'm afraid it can't do that.

remember, this are only the power-ups. the guns and rockets are harder to fix I must admit.

edit -- you/I can/could fix the white spots (bad transparency) by hand in Gimp.

I should add this functionality to STY tool and make it automated.
Pretty good idea.
I actually wanted to integrate same functionality to map editor also.
But i guess it's a job of STY tool.

It figures but it has a bug. I didn't looked so deeply to it yet, because i don't use it so much and i didn't care.

But i should now. Fix bugs that i know and add some features (that would be actually also useful to me in future).

For example one of them same thing you posted: animated exports.

Cool, I didn't know you made the program and are still working on it/updating. Great news.

An export/generate function to animated .gifs with correct transparency would be awesome.

Jernej wrote the STY tool. He gave me permission to update and release it.

Also there is a STYed tool from Gain software but Gain is dead.

-map editor crashes when i`ll add new pallet
-fix "add page" option in textures. We wont have to replace alredy exist textures

-support more pallets
