  This is the Portsmouth, from the original DMA cars for GTA. I decided to do it cos I liked the back of the original car, it was very well made and I thought it deserved for me to have a go at it. So I did and I turned up with this, I'm very happy with it, I think I got it looking good, boxxy and all.
  About the real thing, the Krome Portsmouth is the typical american box on wheels (actually, it was designed specifically to the States, it's hard to find it elsewhere), it handles like shit, the suspension is so soft, it looks like jelly, the engine is a V6, 2.5 liters with a mere 137 hp, it's heavy like hell, 1,67 tons, but hey, the guys like it that way! This car replaced the unsuccessful Krome Velane, which turned out to sell very few models. Therefore, to seperate from it's predecessor, the Portsmouth changed a lot, starting in the name and ending in the interiors. Everything was changed, instead of presenting the low price that the Velane did, this was destinated to higher status customers as it featured leather interiors, wood aplications in doors, tablier and other points of the car, it had more room and was more comfortable. Maybe that was the reason why it had more persons buying it, but still it was no best-seller . . .
