Jefe Cars Monster Car Designed by: Jefe Date: 20/9/02 Car Replaced: A-Type (Car 38) any style file, recommended on wil.sty New Deltas: Yes New Specs: Yes Build Time: Two hours Programs used: MS paint (to get basic shape), PSP 7 (for shading) Remaps: 1, 2, 5, 9, 13, 17, 19, 22, 24, 28, 32 Installation: Create copies of the style file you're using, and nyc.gci. Rename the copies something like wil.bak and nyc.bak. Open nyc.gci using Notepad and find model 42 which is the A-type. Replace the specs with this: {A-Type} 42 {model} 1 {turbo} 100 {value} 0 {pad} f30.000 {mass} f1.000 {front drive bias} f0.350 {front mass bias} f1.500 {brake friction} f0.350 {turn in} f0.500 {turn ratio} f1.250 {rear end stability} f0.400 {handbrake slide value} f0.190 {thrust} f0.405 {max_speed} f0.800 {anti strength} f0.122 {skid threshhold} f0.550 {gear1 multiplier} f0.750 {gear2 multiplier} f1.000 {gear3 multiplier} f0.175 {gear2 speed} f0.272 {gear3 speed} Open STYed and find Car 38, import my Car 38.bmp over the old bitmap. In this, the deltas do look like they would work well, but some parts needed to be fixed, i.e. the window showing at the rear, and parts of the smash-up covering the wheels. So import Deltaset38.bmp. In the car's Properties, change car width/heights to 38/62 (respectively). Use palette 31. Be sure you backed up your sty files before saving and playing GTA2. A-Types do not appear on roads, but there is one in Fruitbat (or was it Sunnyside? hmm. Anyway, it is somewhere in Loony land) on lv.1, or you can put one into scripts on your own levels - the script name for it is the RTYPE. Uninstallation: Find the backups of your sty files and nyc.gci and replace the new ones (that have the Monster) with your backups. Notes: If you have any comments or constructive criticism - and I mean CONSTRUCTIVE criticism (not like in some places where people just rip apart instead of contribute *ahem*"this car just sux!!!1"*ahem*) - then send them along to . Many thanks to the people who made the tutorials on azz.gouranga.com and gta.niteshade.net. I hope y'all enjoy driving this car as much as I did making it!
