Brief Description: ****************** Well...this car is called Coercion (which im sure you all know has something to do with force). Its a Neural inspired car... hence the futuristic look. Special thanks to guys like Alfadog (with the AV Neural) which inspired me to make this car. Specification Changes: ********************** There are two versions of the Coercion with: a) Its own palette...so no detail lost b) An ingame palette support (pallete 172) The Coercion looks racey, and if you want it to go as fast as it looks, open your GTA2 directory, open [DATA] and open nyc.gci in Notepad. Search for Michelli Roadster and paste this in under its name: 53 {model} 1 {turbo} 50 {value} 0 {pad} f14.500 {mass} f1.000 {front drive bias} f0.650 {front mass bias} f2.000 {brake friction} f0.250 {turn in} f0.400 {turn ratio} f1.250 {rear end stability} f0.150 {handbrake slide value} f0.580 {thrust} f0.330 {max_speed} f0.600 {anti strength} f0.120 {skid threshhold} f0.300 {gear1 multiplier} f0.400 {gear2 multiplier} f0.600 {gear3 multiplier} f0.245 {gear2 speed} f0.345 {gear3 speed} Extras: ******* There are some extras in this MM Coercion pack: 1) A special file called "YelloStripe.bmp" which contains a different coulor striped sports version of the original. 2) Included in the bonus models is a set of stripes and windows so you can fiddle and create your own different colour models (Bonus Bundle.bmp). 3) An edition of the car which has been optimised to use an ingame pallete (172) For more information see bottom... Installation Guide: ******************* STYed V1.4 is needed to install this car, you can download this program from http://www.i999.freeserve.co.uk/stuff_styed.htm . Once you have downloaded this program, open it up and follow these instructions carefully: 1) Click on File and then Open, then 'Cars Only'. Goto your GTA2 Data directory then open wil.sty and wait for it to load. 2) In the box with palletes in, choose one below 280. eg 300. Once the chosen one is highlighted, click File, then Import, then 'Import Pallette'. Click on 300.pal, located in the same directory as this readme. 3) Click on car48 in the column to the right. You should see a nice lookin car :) 4) Click on File, then Import, then 'Import Image'. You will see the open dialog box. Goto the directory with this readme in it and click on Car48.bmp. 5) Soon you will see a very cool lookin motor. If you dont like it then close STYed. If you do, then click on Edit then 'Image Properties'. In the box named 'Pallete', make sure it says 300 (or whatever number you put 300.pal into). *THIS MUST BE PALLETE 172 IF YOU ARE USING THE INGAME PALLETE COMPATIBLE VERSION* Also, goto the 'Remaps and Doors' tap to select which remaps to use (none if using the normal version of the car). You will need to move the position of the doors down, but in Styed this can cause problems, so be careful. 6) Almost there... goto View then 'Deltas'. A box will load, and you will see some very WRONG pictures. Click on 'Import Delta Set' and open the directory with this readme in. Then click on DeltaSet48.bmp and soon you will see some pictures with only parts of my car in. Click close now. 7) All you have to do now is click File then Save, and as soon as thats done, open GTA2, start level 1 and yer off. By the way, the Michelli Roadster does not appear to often, so it may take a minute to find the car... ;) Additional Information: *********************** USING BONUS MATERIAL 1) If you fiddle with the 'Bonus Models' section, you will have to create a pallete for your new model! Information for doing this can be found on GTA related sites. Try 'http://azz.gouranga.com' for some great 'how to' guides. 2) To use the yellow striped version, you will need to use the special YellowStripe.pal pallete. There are delta issues relating to the use of this. 3) If you want to use the ingame pallete compatible version, then simply use the images in the "Pallete 172 Compatible" directory. Remember that they use ingame pallete no 172. ********** Do not distribute any altered versions of these files. Please do not release any special coloured versions or alterations of the original files. This includes cars and deltas made from any part of the "Bonus Models" file.
