Jefe Cars Concept Car Car Designed by: Jefe Date: 13/09/02 Car Replaced: A-Type (any style file, but recommended for wil.sty) New Deltas: Yes New Specs: Yes Build Time: One day Programs used: MS paint (to get basic shape), PSP 7 (for shading) Installation: Create copies of wil.sty and nyc.gci. Rename the copies something like wil.bak and nyc.bak. Open nyc.gci using Notepad and find model 42 which is the A-Type. Replace the specs with this: {A-Type} 42 {model} 1 {turbo} 60 {value} 0 {pad} f18.000 {mass} f0.900 {front drive bias} f0.500 {front mass bias} f2.250 {brake friction} f0.450 {turn in} f0.500 {turn ratio} f1.250 {rear end stability} f0.300 {handbrake slide value} f0.215 {thrust} f0.400 {max_speed} f0.750 {anti strength} f0.085 {skid threshhold} f0.550 {gear1 multiplier} f0.750 {gear2 multiplier} f1.000 {gear3 multiplier} f0.199 {gear2 speed} f0.290 {gear3 speed} Open STYed and find Car 38 (A-type), import my Car 38.bmp over the old bitmap. Of course the deltas turn out funny, so edit the deltas and import DeltaSet38.bmp. In the car's Properties, change the palette number to 189, car width/heights to 32/62 (respectively). Leave the door co-ords alone. Be sure you backed up wil.sty before saving and playing GTA2. As A-types do not appear on the roads, you can put some into scripts, replacing other cars (the script name for the A-type is the RTYPE). Alternatively, you can find one in the Fruitbat sector of Level 1. (I did this as it is a concept car, so only a couple of prototypes have been released.) My original plan for this car was to make a sort of short limousine (but not thin, i.e. Isetta Limos). In my opinion they look very "early 1900's". In some ways it looks like the VW Beetle! (I didn't know that until I was done with it) Uninstallation: Find the backups of wil.sty and nyc.gci and replace the new ones (that have the Jefe Concept) with your backups. Notes: If you have any comments or constructive criticism - and I mean CONSTRUCTIVE criticism (not like in some places where people just rip apart instead of contribute *ahem*"this car just sux!!!1"*ahem*) - then send them along to . This car can be remapped ingame, so no need to delete the remaps in Properties. I have released a few other cars at Azz's website, go check them out if you haven't already... just ignore the Hotrod, if that got uploaded!!! {Grim Reaper Bike} {MiniCarribean} Many thanks to the people who made the tutorials on azz.gouranga.com and gta.niteshade.net. I hope y'all enjoy driving this car as much as I did making it!
