If you didn't play Portal yet shame on you !!! My idea was to make a gta2 map in portal style. What suited best was a rocket arena. Later i created additional game modes to add more variety. This mode and all others too have teleporting doors and a little easter egg hidden in the northern part of the map. Energy Pellet Mode : This will add particle emitters to the map. These "High Energy Pellet launchers" throw "High Energy Pellets" to the center of the map where they will explode. Heavy Duty Mode: This is a mixture of Double Domination and King of the Hill. Instead of the Companion Cube there is a "1500 Megawatt Aperture Science Heavy Duty Supercolliding Super Button" in the middle of the chamber and an onscreen counter. The target is to be on the button when it reaches zero. This will add 10 000 points to your score. So try to stay on the button and try to stay alive and also don't forget that frags also give points, not as much as the button but still 2 000. Important: select points game and a decent limit, for example 100 000. Party Escort Mode: This mode will make 2 combine guards spawn regularly which will try to eliminate the players. You can kill them or you can avoid them so they chase your opponent. Combined Modes: It is also possible to play combinations of all 3 modes. ep is for Energy Pellet Mode, hd for Heavy Duty and pe for Party Escort.
