Grand Theft Auto 2 - Saved Game Editor 1.1b (GTA2_SVGE)

This program will let you edit many aspects of your GTA2
saved game files (*.svg). It will let you enable any gun
with any amount of ammo, set money levels, health, lives
and the multiplier, as well as turning on the 4 powerups
if you wish...

The main reason why I wrote SVGE was that in GTA2 it 
costs a scandalous 50k to save a game, and I wasn't 
happy about letting all that money go! So, using SVGE I 
can at least recover the 50k I spent saving the game, 
and continue about my merry way (with an extra grenade
or two for good luck) :-)

1.1a does two things - fixes a dumb bug where the
Invunerability and Electro-Fingers powerups were
mixed up; and it also adds the ability to edit the
respect levels for all three groups.

1.1b fixes a respect editing bug that sometimes caused
odd values of negative respect to be created. I've 
rewritten my code in that area and it now should work 100%.
Also, added the ability to enable Invisibility powerups
and set the number of GTA2 Tokens found.


INSTALLATION AND USE:
=====================

Couldn't be simpler - just copy the EXE file to your
GTA directory, or place directly in

\GTA2\PLAYER

When you run SVGE, click past the splashscreen and you
will see a basic dialog with most items disabled.

Use the browse button ("...") to choose a SVG file to 
edit from your \PLAYER directory. Once chosen, click
on [Read From SVG] to load up the saved data into the
dialog's view.


Now, you can edit the values of the various items to 
your hearts content. When you are finished, click on
[Save To SVG] to store your changes. 

PLEASE NOTE: BACK UP YOUR SAVE GAME FILES BEFORE USING
SVGE! JUST IN CASE....

By the way, the powerup checkboxes will not be filled 
in based upon the saved game state - when you click on
one to enable it in your saved game, it will turn on 
the powerup for the maximum time allowed (which is a
long time!). If you don't click on a powerup, it will
turn it off in the saved game file.
