Sorry if asked before, but is it possible to have GTA2 at 1680x1050? Or would this be cheating?

As far as I know, it's impossible to play GTA2 widescreen without stretching the screen.

Confrmed in Windows (unless you want to play single player, then use d3dwindower), in Linux I run it in a window which is the height of my screen at a 4:3 ratio. Either way you're just stretching the image, the field of view remains the same.
