GTA2 upside down
I don't know if anyone tried this trick before.
1) Go to system display settings and rotate screen by 180 degrees.
2) Launch GTA2.
3) Profit.
User interface is upside down but controls work perfect because they don't depend on camera direction. Also shadow placement is shifted wrong way but it doesn't really annoying.
Very unusual experience especially for people who know GTA2 maps well.
Have fun.

Re: GTA2 upside down
Yeah, haha, nice try. You just rotated the image.
"Mmmm, your eyes are so beautiful."
Re: GTA2 upside down
Would be interesting to actually rotate the map data, many games have this feature. I just feel like the map format doesnt actually allow this completely, since i think there are some blocks that cannot be rotated to all directions (GTA2 own bugs, or features).

Re: GTA2 upside down
For screenshot - yes, but I actually played GTA2 upside down. I can't take screenshots because they are taken with normal orientation. If you still don't believe me, I can take a photo of my monitor with flipped GTA2.Yeah, haha, nice try. You just rotated the image.
Rotating screen (some drivers have Ctrl+Alt+<arrow> bound to this operation) is muuuch simplier.Would be interesting to actually rotate the map data,

I imagine this is what playing GTA2 looks like for Sektor.

Re: GTA2 upside down
Yeah it is simpler, but the text and other UI elements are upside down too. Although, that could be hacked by flipping the sty-file images for fonts etc also.ALPINE wrote:Rotating screen (some drivers have Ctrl+Alt+<arrow> bound to this operation) is muuuch simplier.T.M. wrote:Would be interesting to actually rotate the map data,
