I attempted to get the land mines to work on foot, but it would crash the game. Apparently there is a hidden value which tells the game when a vehicle weapon is selected and when an on-foot weapon is selected. Trying to fire an on-foot weapon in a vehicle crashes the game and vice-versa unfortunately.

Been designing new gun designs for the map I'm working on for fun.
you should give it a heavy machine gun sound too and an overheating mechanism.

pretty cool. a damage or fire rate upgrade would make the jeep a much better weapon

There's a trick where any group / instant gang members in a vehicle with a turret will increase the fire rate. On the fifth gameplay version of my first map I made two scripted characters that get into a gun Jeep as passengers & stay there, to increase the fire rate by 3x.
You could create characters in a gun Jeep on a map for the same effect.
