What kind of script? Basic script with players/cars/objects?
Here is a basic example map i made with it:

No complicated stuff, just basic objects.
Is this what you want?

Doing a "real" script requires some sort of programming knowledge, but you can make simple script like above without any programming knowledge by just copy/paste the script objects. You can download Epic GTA2 Map Editor and look at the example map there is, and use the objects in your map by copying them from there in a text editor.

You want a script that will make any map playable? I have such a script made in the Epic GTA2 Map editor, when you play a map from that editor, it will create a script file for any map which doesn't have one yet. That makes it possible to play any map without creating a script yourself for every map you want to test. It only creates 1 player in middle of the map, though. But it does exactly what you asked for.

The file is clean, that's just a false positive. Virus scanners often get it wrong.

Dont press "cancel" on the popup window it gives at the first time you start it :)

<- Truth.

My antivirus program (Avast!) after new version update also thought it had virus, but then when i read more carefully, it said "however, there is no evidence it being a malware.. bla bla".

If you want to be as sure as possible about the infection status of a file, run it through these:

For a basic script, try this.

For some tutorials for scripting, look at this page.

For a document listing every other GTA2 script command, read through this (the .doc file).

Anything else, just ask!
