Black Ops SOUNDPACK

DESCRIPTION:
A small high quality soundpack that replaces almost all the weapon sounds of GTA2(excluding the Electrogun and the Flamethrower).

HOTFIX:
-Corrected Shotgun pitch problems
-Made Silenced Machine Gun sound quiet, because It was unrealistic


INSTALL:
Just put the "data" folder into the main GTA2 folder. Don't forget to make a backup!

Hahaha. I like the MG sound, but the shotgun is not strong enough and the silencer is not silence enough.

Btw, it's sound-patch, not sound pach

The problem with the shotgun in GTA2 is that the sound in the .sdt file has a pitch a lot higher than that you hear in GTA2, about 40.909% if I got it right, but it's difficult to properly change a sound's pitch to match the difference, usually the result sounds weird. I tried modifying the original shotgun sound to include a reload sound, but as expected i got weird results :P . Nice pack, by the way!

It doesn't seem to use the original shotgun sound, though, which I did. I just tried to add a reload sound but as expected it fucked up later. Now I'm just too lazy to try something else again.

i have done a couple of mp maps with custom sound but the new one i was talking about is from rick/sequential
