i know how to convert them to another palette and it seams that all no remap vehicles have similar colors with the stock cars. But it's a lot of clicking work.

Recreating them with resprayable palettes isn't that difficult, it's been done before. It would help if someone had a crisp png instead of a jpeg version. The real problem, however, is creating delta's for each car, as they are missing and probably were never made.

Does anybody know why these cars were made (and with that, I mean a source)? Were they ever meant to be included in the game, or did Ray Larabie made them afterwards, to show how the cars could have been? Same goes for the GTA1 cars beneath. I downloaded them as "dmacars", but are these genuine beta cars, or did someone else made them?

Try to use old ones?

That's not an original png version: it's just the jpeg saved as a png. Actually, it's probably the same image I made for WikiGTA, ripped by the guys of Wikia. And using the default delta's would look horrible.

does anybody need a tutorial for this, or is there already one?

i think for the cars in the first post you could use the remaps of the original cars. (with little adjustments for some models)

Here you go.

I quickly threw together Larabie's Rumbler. It has a correct palette, but the original delta's. It could be done better, of course, but I still think someone would have to create proper delta's.

I edited delta's for "pimped" cars in this mod: http://gtamp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=197&start=0

It is a lot of work.
