Hi, I downloaded GTA 2 but It is working slowly. How to I use it in fast Frame Rates? My system is 16 gb ram, 2 gb GPU, Intel I5 processor. But It is still working slowly. It was working fast in old PCs.

For some reason I get faster frames per second when I run Chrome in the background with youtube open (window directly behind GTA2).

I stopped everything but it is still slow working. Should I install Windows XP or 7?

Does Windows 8 have any compatibility modes which disables hardware acceleration for graphics on the desktop? Might just help.

Don't stop everything, try with a web browser open. I know there has to be a better way but that works for me.

You could also try disabling the frame rate limiter and using http://www.bandicam.com/ to limit the framerate.
