Re: Block Fort Frag Wipe Out
Currently one thing makes this map totally gay, and another just damn annoying: Gay: Too many cars. In a 3p game, 1/3 of the time by the time i get to the action, they have both died, because 'dodging' the traffic takes for fucking ever. Damn annoying: the taunts. I need to see the action, not a god...

Re: TinyGTA - portable minimalistic zeroconfig GTA2 - only 5
(My reply is in the same order as the points you made) That's assuming that DrSlony's Rip is hard to get running (which it's not), assuming people don't like any of the standard maps, assuming they want to download exes, assuming they need 7-Zip (which they don't), assuming that running gta2 manager...

Re: TinyGTA - portable minimalistic zeroconfig GTA2 - only 5
What's the point of this?
A full GTA2 (without music/videos) only takes about 18MB (even less, since with Vike's changes the soon to come new GTA2 rip will no longer include obsolete files), and doesn't require any configuration either.
Other than as an experience in hacking games up, I don't see one.

Polish is ISO-8859-2 (I'm not following the conversation, just saw that you touched that subject).
ps. GH uses CP1250 (nobody knew that last time I asked, a year ago).

Re: Bootcamp Team Capture the Vehicle v1.07
TL;DR, but re: railings: pros don't die when they fall, no matter the height, and anything that decreases game speed should be removed. Dafe's Death Valley was so much worse when all the fences were solid, you kept smacking into something every time you picked up speed, same with Multislayer. Now wi...

Re: GTA2 Font Topic - TXT2GTA2 (Version 3 Released!)
AFAIK you wrote that program in python (good), but why the hell do you want to use M$ libs now? Since you already started with a free, open source and cross-platform language, why don't you find a fix to your problem that's also free and cross-platform? What's the problem?

Or that your gang members do nothing when a green asshole steels your car with you and the gang in it :P "the more you hold the punch button, more health the cop will take from you when he rises up again" If this is true, and if it works outside the bug you presented, then it could be usef...

I have a list like that too, waiting for better days when I'll have the time and the system specs to properly record a long GTA2 training video.

RSS
I use RSS feeds a lot, they save a hell of a lot of time if you follow many forums, blogs, etc. I can't find an RSS feed for this forum. Adding one should be as simple as installing a phpBB plugin.

First time I've seen your trick master vid, nice one!
I don't see any tricks in the unreleased part, just molo spamming, and the quality (and format) sucks :]

I prefer the lighter v3.0.1 version of the gray text. Make sure your monitor is properly calibrated.

I don't support adding auto-rejoin capabilities, I don't support adding bold/italics/whatever formatting capabilities.

Re: GTA2 Game Hunter v1.5
Alt+Number is not used by any web browser It's used by FireFox. Not that I'm voicing for or against it, just saying. That isn't the case on Windows. Did you get confused between Alt and Ctrl perhaps? Firefox-3.5.6. I do not get confused. The developers of Firefox (indeed, the whole reason the proje...

Re: GTA2 Game Hunter v1.5 - work in progress
Alt+Number is not used by any web browser It's used by FireFox. Not that I'm voicing for or against it, just saying. FireFox as it is by default is a bad example to follow. What I am suggesting is that alt+left/right switches to the left/right tab, along with ctrl+pgup/pgdn which will do the same t...
