Nothing much seems to be happening in GTA2 now. GTA5 has everyone's attention and let's hope it will be for good reason.

For a long time I've wanted to make a bigger army base in the desert, where you'd need to use vehicles to get around effectively.

I started to actually make it a couple of nights ago. It will be in the South West of my Jailbreak map.

My plan is to make it a team game, like Mazon. But only 2 or 3 players per side in such a large base might feel silly. So it might become players versus real army, plus some turrets and patrolling tanks.

We'll see...to start with I'll probably set it up as a deathmatch arena like TRON: Light Tanks at first. That will help me find good distances and geometry for the general layout inside the base.

Happy, but late birthday to "Epic GTA2 Map Editor". Just turned to be 5 years old, 18 days ago!
