changing effects of weapons

Is it possible to change the characteristics of a weapon, like Damage per bullet, etc? I want to make the shotgun much more powerful (a 2 shot KO).

I don't agree with elypter, it's possible, but hard. If someone can find the Address which contains the shotgun, then you can look for the pointers and get the details of it. So it's possible. But yeah, Hardcore!
