A couple of modding questions

I recently started modding GTA2 again, i used to do basic car mods before, but am now doing more advanced things.

Anyway I have two questions...

1. Is there anyway to create your own objects, without having to replace a existing object. Or is it possible to increase the amount of sprites for an object (AKA increase the amount of sprites for a cone from 4 to 8).

2. There seems to be a problem with the London map from GTA1 Cities in GTA2 converted map pack, as no matter how much chaos you cause, ambulances and fire trucks never spawn, and i can't figure out why, they spawn just fine in all the other maps in the map pack.

I hope someone can answer some of these modding questions. Thanks in advance

damn, thats a shame i was hopeing to properly convert gta london objects over to gta2. Also I'll try adding traffic arrows to the roads later. Cheers

If it happens throughout the level then I don't know. Some of my other levels experience the same problem. No idea why.

As a long shot, something about the position of Restart zones in relation to roads?

The traffic arrows all seem fine, yet no ambulances or firetrucks like in other maps

Edit: Fire trucks seem to spawn fine on one bridge in the entire map

P.S. I assume theres no way of editing attributes of objects like weather they can be moved my a car or not?

I doubt it's anything to do with restart zones related to roads or traffic arrows, but perhaps it's related to zone info stuff (MAP_ZONE name = [...]).

GTA1 required a special zone and arrow at fire stations to create Fire Trucks there. The same was true of hospitals to create ambulances.

They can spawn anywhere in GTA2, of course, so maybe it doesn't matter now.

Did we make traffic drive on the British side for the GTA London map in GTA2? Maybe that confuses it.

I don't think it does either — I have a map where part of it has left-hand traffic, and the only part where it sometimes screws anything up is where it switches from left- to right-hand traffic
