Re: WTF Where is Elypter?

Post by B-$hep »

Who wants to sit in front of computer when it's summer / holidays?
Even i don't want to. I think it's same with Elypter.

Also i can ask the same way, where is Razor, last visit was 12 may.

I do some stuff here in pc but also very rarely. And if i do, only because of other things, primarily searching / watching videos about car / home repairs or looking for some info.

GTA2 stuff is just collecting dust..

Youre both kind of right.
I havn't been on my computer for 2 or 3 months. Maybe because my OS broke and i did not really repair it yet or probably because of escapism. The internet disgusted me to a point that i couldnt take it anymore. This forum is one of the few places im still lurking on. I hope gh is still alive...

Usually, screens shouldn't actually hurt or in any way damage your eyes. If they do, something's probably wrong.

Really, the ground illuminated by the Sun outside is thousands of times brighter than a PC screen, and nobody says anything about you having to protect your eyes from the light that reflects off the ground.

There are some studies that say if you spend way too much time in the computer, specially if you're young (kid or teenager), it can increase your risk of having myopia later, but if you at least take some breaks from time to time you should be fine. Myopia is mostly genetic anyways.

Yeah. Sun makes UV light that causes cataract. So actually the more you spend time with computer, the healthier your eyes should be :-)

If you have sore eyes, its probably lack of proper nutrients or too long nights at computer & lack of sleep. Other problems are just lack of pauses and stretching exercises. If you just sit there, you will get problems for sure.

When sun is too bright outside then it hurts my eyes, i have to close my eyes or just watch on the ground. I should / must wear sunglasses but im not used to them. But i guess i must change this.
I just cant stand the bright sun. The reflections from different stuff, even from ground hurts sometimes. It all depends..

While driving car i must use the glasses but only when driving, because i cant see far.
Thanks to da*n computer.

Wtf where is Elypter and we talk about glasses, lol.

Maybe you're photophobic? You could/should get it checked out, perhaps.

Like everything is out of focus when looking far? If so it's just myopia, which if it is you probably already know this anyway.

I'm still sure it's not because of the computer. It's a popular urban legend, but computer screens don't really damage your eyes. I would give you the sources but I can't find them right now. Will post them ASAP.

I have always used CRT monitor, since 2006-7 when i got my first PC.
Atm im not home, i use laptop this has LCD.

And i feel that CRT feels better / softer for me.
At my sister, she has large LCD monitor and i cant work at this for too long. I must run away :P

When i was like 5-6 years old i was in bus stop and bus was coming that was almost 70-80 m far away or something like that, i could perfectly see what bus is coming. The bus nr was very small.

Now i see just 1 m and rest is slightly blurry, just cant see so perfectly clearly.
1m away from monitor and i already cant read this text here.

My eyes get better if i dont use PCs and of course they say that you must take small breaks from computer and look somewhere far far away, into specific point, this should do good as they say.
