Hello, I'd like to know how I could edit the main exe.? From what I understand that's where all the weapons data is stored & I'd like to see if I could tinker around with anything & figure something out.

But again, to cr@ck you need to know asm.

Join some team and start doing it, start from simple tuts.
I think that will be a lot more interesting than just writing asm apps or just reading asm tuts.
To learn you must fiddle with asm. Ollyd(b)g is free and great.
I love it.

Because basically cr@cking is what you do for GTA2, to make it work for you like you want.
It's not easy, but it's doable. Look what Vike has done. Amazing stuff.

I have been called to different teams many times, but i refused because i just don't have time for that anymore. I was in 2005-2006 last time when i stopped.

I have to use some unusual chars, the G00gle caches everyting.

Try some crackmes and some affiliated tutorials, no need to do "illegal" cracking and reverse engineering crackmes is easier than full programs

You guys also got some tips on hacking games? I can get some small things done with Cheat Engine, XVI32 and OllyDbg, but it's not much.
