I totally agree.
Single PlayerThe speed of the action in single-player GTA2 is seriously fast. It's total chaos and everything happens incredibly quickly. Due to the top-down view and how close the game spawns peds and cars, it's sometimes humanly impossible to avoid getting pwned.
The gangs at maximum disrespect can also be nearly impossible. Deciding to go massacre Scientists in their base with -5 respect is...basically the last thing you'll ever do.
Vedic Assault is just about impossible in single player unless you have total knowledge about the layout so you can be shooting the newly spawning gang members, even before you can see them.
MultiplayerIn a multiplayer game where everyone has pings lower than 50, the game runs full speed like single-player.
When playing multiplayer, vike made the "normal" setting even faster than single-player. So if you have no lag, it is impossibly fast. (Frame Limiter seems to have been circumvented.
Setting a multiplayer game to "slow" when you have no lag is quite nice, but maybe just a touch too slow? (Feels like it might be 20fps when 25 would be a more comfortable step down.)
