Surprise surprise but im doing that for a while now.
Im working on different things at once.

Making code more readable in Ghidra etc..

I have many ideas how to find all the logic and stuff in GTA2 and call them in my code.

Its hard but everything is possible.

GTA2 remake?
There is no need for another half finished thing. Internet has many of them by now.
Nobody ever gets to the hard stuff and gives up.
Rendering map and stuff is easy.

Coding AI, cars is where people give up. And there the story ends.

Hi. Project is still in development, but like with many DIY things and no money for this job, it has its own ups and downs. Most important thing is atm with finishing logical commands: IF..ELSE..ENDIF, DO..WHILE_TRUE etc They worked on simple scripts but after trying more complex things they do not ...

Found a problem with tile selector. Dunno if anybody noticed it. When tile picker is set to topmost then if you open Edit menu then you can't even use it. Because menu opens behind the tile selector. Sorry, nope. Exactly the same error. Maybe it' my laptop, WIN10 is old and needs refreshing. I mean from 0. Restore the fresh windows from the recovery partition and install updates and maybe then your game starts to work. Maybe your system is newer than mine and my system doesn't have all the neces...

Im also interested in all this stuff again and coding but im just so busy with my life atm that i just dont have time to even launch GTA2. Last time i played GTA2 was like in September of 2019 if not earlier Lot's of GTA1/GTA2 stuff sitting on my desktop but no time to even look at the files/folders...

No custom things. I just unpack the archive and double click on tdc.exe
New errors, after i click yes, it again throws an exception for line 816 in game_Gui.pas and then closes

Ohh, i see.
If i remember correctly then i worked on selection thingy and tested it on my side but I never released it.
Have to dig out the DVD with the source and take a look what was there.
