GTA IV release day is here

GTA IV has officially been released! I went to a midnight launch in a small Melbourne store.  I arrived at 11:30pm and there was only 4 people there. I went to get some food and when I returned 15 minutes later, there was a line with 25 people. Once the clock hit midnight, the line moved rather quickly and I had my pre-order soon after 12. I played until around 4am and then I went to sleep since I had an 8:30am class that I couldn’t miss.  I heard that some other stores in Melbourne gave out prizes and had lines with 150 or more people.  I just wanted to get GTA IV home as quickly as possible.

    dude i played the game from 12:40am to 8:00am. i didn’t even touch the single player missions but i free roamed all night online and it went by way too fast. awesome game

    both single and online are good!

    single shows more features.

    RE: comment back and tell me some experience you had online or offline.

    i was on the freeway.
    kinda on a exit curve bridge taking cover behind a barrel…
    down you could see the streets.
    some friends went to the other team. (Team Deathmatch)

    well i saw them passing on this similar ferrari..i took out my SMG and kill the passenger..
    the driver got out and i started shooting at him but he was able to take cover behind car..
    so he made a run for it to take some cover behind a building..

    i blind fire..
    and BANG!
    got him!

    nice kill.

    the blind fire is pretty good.

    Here in Sweden we had to queue for 3 weeks to get the game! ;)

    I played gtaiv at my friends house i was inpressed :P the grafics are the bomb and its so awesome. i just wish i had a ps3 or a xbox360. but ill prob get one of them soon! :)

    BEAT the GAME!!

    yeah took me 27 hours with 60% done.

    i gotta do the assassins missions and the stunts to get 100%.

    I finally completed the story and loaded my game to get both endings. 38 hours according to the in game counter. Looks like I miss out on the under 30 hours achievement.
